Oradellian Posted October 9, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 9, 2009 :):) Hi Friends, We're booked in Aquaclass on March 8th in the Caribbean, and since there are so many dining options I thought I'd gather your opinions. My wife and I are traveling alone, and we have a preference on cruises to speed through meals and get to shows, music, casino, etc. as quickly as possible. The standard seatings at 6:15pm and 8:45pm seem too early / too late if you know what I mean. Here's what I done so far: 1) We selected "Select" dining at reservation time. 2) Using Celebrity's website, I've reserved Murano twice and Tuscan Grill on the first (3) sea days, which I assume are the formal nights; 7:30pm. 3) On the other evenings, I reserved select tables in the main dining room also at 7:30pm. I'm concerned that the "Blu" restaurant will not be available for "select" diners, and also that the schedule of early and late entertainment shows will interfere with the 7:30pm dining times. Comments? I appreciate your advice.
Albert Ross Posted October 9, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 9, 2009 In AQ your restaurant is Blu only. Blu does not offer Celebrity Select Dining - it has set times like 6p and 8:30p You can only eat in the main dining room on a space available basis- you have to check with the Maitre d' each day you want to dine there From what I have seen and read about Blu menus you wouldn't want to.
