noisy cabins on the Diamond

I was wondering about the cabins on the Emerald Deck. Are there any noise issues with any of the cabins on this deck seeing how they are above the promanade deck with lounges?

 

On the cruise I am looking at many of these cabins are currently the same price as the inside cabins.

I was on the Emerald deck in November and didnt hear any noise - hardly any from connecting cabins either. The only thing we heard was the squeeky tennis shoes of the child in the cabin next to us when he walked down the hall.

We heard nothing in our cabin on Emerald deck last May.

I am curious as to which cabin you were in on the Diamond last November. I also have a cabin booked (E406) for the Asia cruise this Thanksgiving. It looks like ut is not obstructed (even partially), so I am hoping we have a decent view.

We were in cabins C229 and C231. No noise from anywhere.
