excursion boat for snorkelling

Are there any excursions on a boat or catamaran that you can do, outside of a ship's tour? Do you have to plan in advance? Can you walk off the ship and get on a tour?

I was wondering this also since DH are trying to save $ (aren't we all?!).

Not sure exactly what you are looking for....... just a ride? snorkle ? dive ?

 

but, we have a 2 tank dive booked with Blue Water Divers (not ship tour) and they also have snorkle trips. Know there are others on Grand Turk but would not bet on walking off and getting something. This island is so tiny there aren't a bunch - but maybe ? This will be my first visit in Nov. so I could be wrong. Anybody else ?

Yes, there are quite a few companies listed at this site.....HOWEVER - most of them are NOT on Grand Turk - only found 3 dive/snorkle tour operators so far on Grand Turk in all my researching..... just a small small island. 6-1/2 miles long by 1-1/2 miles wide :eek:
