port/ship time on the Star Mexican Riviera?

Does NCL switch to port time when in port? Trying to figure out if the NCL itinerary says arrival time is 11am, is it 11am in that port?

On our cruise to the Mexican Riviera on the Star, the ship time and port times were different in some of the ports.

 

We always factored in the hour time difference. Just check with personnel when you get off the ship.

Just last week to the Mex Riviera we were told to stay on ship time when in port.

Thanks for the replies. What I am trying to do is arrange my excursions through a private vendor. So trying to figure out if NCL says arrival time in Puerto Vallarta is 8am, then what time is it actually in Puerto Vallarta, and so on for Mazatlan and Cabo??

I think the only time we were told to stay on ship time was when we arrived in Puerto Vallarta.. and it was 1 hr ahead there. So if you arrive at 8am, it's really 9am PV time. I think Cabo and Mazatlan were the same as LA time.
