Holiday Inn.

After trying every star, email, credit card anything allowable could not get a decent price for January thru priceline. Decided to use points and book Holiday Inn. I just could not justify spending 40,000 points for less than 18 hours we would be staying at a resort

Is there anything anyone can tell me about this Holiday Inn on Tartak?

It looks decent. Is there any restuarants, food stores(diet coke run) anything in the area walkable? Considered booking a segway tour in old town before cruise. Old Town does not look that close for walking at night.

Any info appreciated.

btw, this is Holiday Inn , not Express

Stayed there Jan 2008 and we were all quite pleased with our stay. Clean, near to beach, other hotels with casinos, restaurants, drug store in walking distance, bus to Old San Juan a block or two away. Staying at Express this year only because it was available and cheaper and others from group staying there, otherwise would have gone back to HI on Tartak. No complaints.
