In Cook county (Chicago) they are about $95 per carton on the outskirts of the county (thanks Todd). I live on the outskirts so I can go about 1 mile to Lake county and get a carton for $45.

That's a long way from the $ 1.00 per Carton when the ship was outside the 3 mile limit. I think they were 20 or 25 cents a pack on base way back yonder in the 60's.....
