Gon2hwe Posted December 31, 2009 #101 Share Posted December 31, 2009 Ifl you have insurance it's supposed to cover it. If you don't, it's probably gonna be a pain.

cruznjan Posted December 31, 2009 #104 Share Posted December 31, 2009 When I've been called to jury duty while having a scheduled trip, I filled out the back of the form and sent copies of my travel documents. I was excused and called at a later date.

MIcruiser99 Posted December 31, 2009 #106 Share Posted December 31, 2009 I'm beginning to wonder if anyone out there has actually served on a jury trial, lol.:D I have - a sexual assault and a murder. I've been called about 3 times since, but due to working in a police with victims in a police department, have been exempted. I'm not exactly unbiased.... I did have to ask for a postponement once due to a cruise but the other times, I have had to go in - 2 out of 4 times, I have been chosen to be on the jury---lucky me! Nothing really exciting, one was a DUI case and the other was a car accident. Glad it worked out for the OP, how awful to be sitting in the courthouse when you could be on a cruise!!
