Meet & Mingle

Hi Larry:

You should expect good times in meeting other Cruise Critic members with whom you have chatted on your ROLL CALL, and being able to put a 'face to their names!".

You can expect light refreshments at your Meet & Mingle -- depending upon the time of day either coffee, tea & danish, or iced tea, lemonade and cookies. Meet & Mingles are held in various lounges, so alcoholic beverages are usually available for purchase.

Don't expect to be entertained at your Meet & Mingle, actually YOU ALL are the entertainment. To get the most out of your party -- DO NO SIT DOWN, but actually mingle with each other.

Usually a RCI staff member -- the Group Coordinator -- will hold a raffle. Sometimes other staff members may stop by, sometimes not. It all depends upon how many other groups are on board, or how the time the gathering was scheduled.

Check the ROLL CALL for your sailing; you may find that someone is planning other events on board. For example on my next cruise there's a cabin crawl that will be held immeiately after the Meet & Mingle.

You will get the most out of the Meet & Mingle if you actively participate in your ROLL CALL!

Laura
