Reasonable priced things to do?

What day and time will you be in port? Can you rent a car?

There are lots of things you can do for cheap.

1st- you can look for a walking tour of Old San Juan on line or in a book and just spend the day exploring the 400 year old city. The forts are cheap and the museums are free or cheap, free rum drinks, and great views and shopping.

But for other specific ideas, tell me when and what you like to do. There are loads of things, if you are in the know.

We've enjoyed going on a snorkeling type excursion in the past at different islands. This will be our first time in San Juan. Is San Juan a good place for snorkeling? Are there any reasonable tour type companies? Thanks for your help!

san juan is not known for snorkling or scuba, but if you travel 1 hour plus from San Juan you can do excursions in Fajardo and surrounding areas, municipality located in the eastern region of Puerto Rico.
