Some may jump on and correct me, but ill give yah a jump start. I do no they offer the babysitting service the first night...now they will have a Camp Carnival meet and greet, where you sign the kids up the first night(I believe round 7pm) and then they will let you know most events and times. But make sure you check the capers to find the specifics. :D good luck and have fun.

Neither service is available embarkation day. Although there is a family dance party in the disco the first night that was actually really fun and a good ice breaker for the kids to atleast meet one another and the counsellors.

Both above posts are correct for the clubs, just off the Dream in December.

Cannot comment on the baby sitting, never sailed with children too small to use the clubs.

In my son's 5 cruises, there was no camp on embarkation day on 5+ day cruises (they had it on the 4 day!). However, on every cruise the late night babysitting did occur on embarkation day from 10-3.

Thanks all! I guess I will go to the orientation when aboard and work it out then!

 

1st trip alone with my 4 yr old son, but I imagine by 10pm that 1st day, we both will be ready to early sleep!

There are camp carnival activities on embarkation day, however all are family style...meaning an adult must be present.

 

Babysitting does happen on embarkation day at 10pm for a fee.
