shopping & beach

Hi,

 

I'm looking to do some proper shopping - brand names, not tourist stuff - am I right in thinking that downtown there is a shopping mall & would it be the kind of shops I'm looking for?

 

I've also seen a website for mini golf - has anyone played it, is it still there!!....I think this is also downtown?

 

Anyway, after a couple hours wandering round shopping is there a beach near the port to chill out on?

I'd like to do nice shopping too but I'm not interested in tourist stuff nor in local articles/handicrafts,...

 

I'm looking for nice summer clothes for women and girl, perhaps also shoes as well as cosmetics articles.

 

Do you know if we can find brand names like Sfera or Zara?

 

Some recommendations in Cozumel?

 

Is there a duty free port?

 

FYI I'll also be in Costa Maya the day before but was told not to buy there as it would be overpriced? Is that true?
