Hello from the UK. Just booked Explorer Bermuda/Bahamas May 13th 2010

Will be our second RC cruise.

 

Last Cruise was Liberty Eastern Caribbean last May.

 

Will be interesting to see how the Freedom and Voyager ships compare, they look very similar. Are they ?

So can anyone tell me are Freedom and Voyager ships very similar ? They look very similar in size and in terms of amenities etc.

Hi - yes they are similar but the freedom class definately feels bigger when you're on board and obviously has additional things like the flowrider. We were on NOS first and then went on FOS and found it easy to find our way around as the layout was so similar :D

We enjoyed Liberty but from what I can see Explorer is very similar.

 

I don't think I'll miss The Flowrider somehow

It's great to see another person from the uk with the cruise bug - we did things to other way round to you we did 12 night Southern Caribbean on Explorer last Feb and we are doing 7 night Western Caribbean on Freedom in 2 weeks.

 

Explorer was beautiful and the staff were amazing our kids were treated like royalty - if she wasn't still sailing from Cape Liberty we wouldn't hesitate on sailing on her again :D

Yep my wife and I love cruising.

 

We are early 40's but have been cruising for 3 years.

 

It's nice to prove to people that really just don't know that not everyone that cruises is over retirement age (no offence to anyone).

 

Our first cruise was an Ocean Village II (Won it in a competition), then we cruised Liberty and now Explorer.
