Flights from Ft. Lauderdale? How Early?

We just booked the Freedom Feb 21-27! Yay! :D

 

Having some trouble finding decent flights home.

 

For those of you that have returned to port and flown out of FLL....What is the earliest flight you'd book? How fast are they getting you off the ship and on your way???

We just got off the Freedom on 1/17 and we had Zone 7 General Debarkation and were off the ship at about 8 am. If you do the self assist you would be off much earlier. I think they started calling them at 7:20. We were checked into our hotel by 8:20 so assuming no delays you could possibly be at the airport by 8:30 or 9 am.

If you do self assist and there are no problems with customs, you can be at the airport very early. The airport is just minutes from the port and is very easy to navigate. I have had a 11:30 flight and have sat waiting for it.
