isufan Posted January 23, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2010 We are planning an Eastern Carib Cruise on the Emerald. For now, we are looking at AD mini-suites, including E730 or 731. DD is very sensitive to motion sickness due to medical condition. Is this a risky choice for that cruise? If so, please tell me better mini-suite locations to consider. Thank you. coops Posted January 23, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2010 Hi, I have been on Ruby in 730 and was very shaky and I have been on CB 731 and had no problems. We are going on Emerald in April with the 731 ad. So if your cruise is after mine I can let you know. I don't mind so much the vibrations back there as I love the double size balconys with these cabins. But with a medical condition I wouldn't risk it. You will want to be mid ship for the most stability. Good luck Dawn

We always go for center of ship and low as possible... but we still want a balcony, so we had D417 on Emerald in Dec. Nice mini-suite!:) It is AA category, I think, but worth the extra because it is very close to the elevators. No we didn't hear the elevators. Midship has least movement and we weren't bothered by noise from the mooring deck (up front) early on port days either. We slept great in D417. :D Stern locations usually have some vibes when underway. Hope it all works out for you. Cheers.
