Which hotel in Galveston?

If you could pick between The Holiday Inn and BW Beachfront which would it be? I tried to get the Hilton but they don't allow a one-night stay. We get in to Hobby at 9:30 the night before the cruise so we won't be spending much time in the room. Which one is nicer?

About the one night stay requirement: Did you check out the Hilton website?

 

I ran into this situation also...with The Galvez. I was linking off of the Galveston website.

 

When I went directly to the Wyndham site, I was able to book for one night.

We stayed at HI and parked our car there for 12 days.

Balcony water front room, small, clean, ok.

Great buffet breakfast, GOOD coffee!!!

Transportation to ship and pickup on return was unbeatable, outstanding; but ask for Rodney. He's a Galveston local, he'll get you to the pier like he owns the town:D and he's there to pick you up; didn't even require a phone call. Staff is friendly. Galveston was dead for Christmas, would like to go back in-season:)
