Valor Boarding Time

Just sailed the Valor last month. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami the night before the cruise. We caught a cab from the hotel to port about 10:15 and arrived at the port around 10:20. We were through security and up to the main check-in area at 10:35. We were given boarding number 6. We were on the lido deck eating lunch by 11:35.

Hope that helps.

We sail Valor from Miami on Sunday. We'll be staying in Miami the night before and wonder what time we should head for the pier to minimize our "hanging out in th terminal" time? Don't really care about being first on - just want to minimize wait. Suggestions?

If you are looking to reduce the amount of time you have to wait from the time you reach the dock until you are on the ship, then you want to arrive between 1:30 and 2:00pm.
