Transportation from Embassy Suites FLL to/from Port and Airport

We will be staying at the Embassy Suites in Fort Lauderdale during Spring Break weekend. I know that cabfare tends to run $15 to the airport and $10 to the port, but with traffic can be higher. Being that we are going Spring Break weekend, I am concerned about traffic (and we need to return to the airport to pickup more people in our party).

 

Is there a cab or van service that someone can recommend to/from the airport to the Embassy Suites and then to the port? We will have 2-3 people in our party. Thank you for any help you can provide.

You might want to call Embassy Suites. The hotel may have the phone number for a shuttle service.

We stayed at the Renaissance and the bell hop called someone that had a van to pick us up and carry us to the port.

Do you really think the traffic will be that much more between the Airport and

Embassy Suites during spring break?

If it is only 10 to 15 minutes now it could not become more than 15 to 20 minutes

I would think.

Really that is a question more than a comment ???

Jimb - yes, you are probably right. Plus, I know we can catch a cab pretty easily from both locations and not have to wait for a car service. Thanks for putting in perspective...
