Difference between 6M and 6L...

We have a 6M category for the June 5th sailing on Dream. From my understanding, there are two twin beds which can be made into a full. In addition, there is a couch that makes into a bed with another twin coming down from the ceiling. There will be 4 in our cabin. Since I am the youngest (age 47) of the group, I always call the top bunk and it is very comfortable and easy to get in and out of.

Most of the time the categories go up or down depending on the cabins position in the ship, there is very little actual change in the layout of the cabins by category (other than the addition of upper bunks) until you get to a suite. The more desirable cabins are in the middle of the ship from front (bow) to back (stern). The category also goes up by deck.
