Just wondering if anyone has played the pool tables on the radiance and if they are busy.What is the proceedure and price to play? thanks Bill

They do get very busy at leat on sea days. Not sure about port days.. But they are fun. And they are free. All you do is take your sea pass card to the bar tender in the sconner bar hand it to him and he hands you a pool que. Then when your done give him back the que and you get you card back.

You will enjoy playing pool on the Radiance - but be prepared it is quite different than playing on land. These tables have some sort of gyro or something in them which makes them self-levelling. The height of the table can elevate or lower automatically - this can take a bit of getting used to, especially when you are lining up that all important shot.

I believe so. We saw teens that looked to be about 16 - 18 playing and didn't see an adult with them. Also, saw kids (8 - 10) playing with a parent. I don't believe that a minor could request pool cues/balls on their own.

 

When we cruised with teenage DD, she did not play pool with us and our last cruise was "couples only", so I can't answer your question for sure.
