Who is the captain of Splendida?

Who is currently the captain of MSC Splendida? Or can i find in some place who will be our captain?

I am hoping to get the nationality from the name, so I will know which language to write a short letter in to go with my kid's drawing

Ships don't always have the same captain, they may have some days of or what so ever. But as it is MSC, you're prety sure it's an Italian. Almost every employee in some of the 'higher functions' are. On our cruise at least the, maitre d'hotel, purser, captain, (I think) all the crew from the bridge, some managers and more. Above that, MSC is an Italian company and I think they'll award their crewmembers who where there form the beginning with the best ships they have.

 

So if you want to write anything, do it in Italian, good luck!

The name of the Splendida's current captain is Mattia Manzi, and he's Italian.
