Local Bus in St.Thomas

I'm not 100% sure but think the vitran bus runs into town from a road 1 block away (rt 30) from Crown Bay and not directly in front of the main gate. We've never used it since it's only about a 25 minute walk to town and by the time the bus arrives you'll be half way there.

what about bus from Crown Bay to Ferry? Or walking from Crown Bay to Ferry or Town? Feasible?

If you were thinking of taking a local but to catch the ferry to St John, I wouldn't do it because the bus schedule is very erratic. I'd opt for the open air taxi's as it would be a lot quicker.

It takes about 20-25 minutes to walk from Crown Bay into town where the ferry is located. Although it's not a far walk I would rather not take the chance of missing the ferry.

btw- It also takes 25 minutes to walk to Emerald beach from Crown bay--but in the other direction.
