Room Assignments

We sail on the Destiny in less than 56 days and am booked on the guaranteed Balcony fun saver. When does Carnival usually assign the rooms? I have heard some say 2 months out and I have heard the day we check in. Looking for CC members info.

Most often assignments appear about 30 days out. Occasionally, they show sooner and rarely you won't have an assignment until you arrive a the pier...

It really depends on how quickly the ship starts filling up. On my upcoming Inspiration cruise, I got my cabin assignment within 2-3 days of final payment.

I had my assignment the day after I completed my document info online (which was about 35 days from sail date). Coincidence? :D

I booked my parents a balcony guarantee. About a week after I completed their FunPass and accepted the cruise terms, their room was assigned, which was about 50 days prior to the cruise.

I am 51 days out and am still waiting on my room assignment too....Its driving me crazy. I just want to know. The suspense is killing me.:eek:

I have friends cruising with us in 23 days and they dont have their room assignment yet.

Just heard from our friends, they got their room assignment today. Anyone know what to do if they arent happy with the room they where assigned? Can they ask to be changed??
