Nachi Cocom glass bottom boat

I've had trouble w/ my knees and its hard to get up stairs sometimes, so I was wondering how hard it is to get in and out of the glass bottom boat to snorkel? Also hubby doesn't snorkel, but wouldn't want to leave him behind on the beach w/ the kids so...would you take a 2 & 3yr old on the tour? If not, I guess we could skip it and maybe catch it next time we're in Cozumel. One more question...how are the guides? I have a little phobia of being in water that I can't touch the bottom, so I'm a bit scared. Thanks
