2006 Spirit 2006 AK

Does anyone know if Spirit is going back to AK in 2006, I heard that its going to dry dock in fall of 05. And what changes are going to be done while dry dock ?

The current plan has the Spirit moving to NYC year round after it comes out of drydock. The Jewel will pick up the Alaska itinerary.

 

As far as what they are going to do in drydock the only things I know for sure is an upgrade to the kitchens. Thjey are set up for Asian cooking and they need to make changes so they can prepare food locally for the Buffet.

 

I assume they are going to address the electric power issue. More US standard outlets. I would not be surprised to see a traditional Bistro and Cagneys when the ship returns to service.
