G/F products on Carnival

I've cruised g/f 4 times on Carnival and done just fine. I recently read something on CC about bringing your own g/f flour, pancake mix, etc. Does anyone have any experience with bringing their own products??

My husband has Celiac Disease and has been on 5 cruises eating gluten free with Carnival. Never got sick and we have had pleasant experiences. I did hear last year of people bringing pancake mix, etc. I called Carnival's special needs area a few weeks go. We leave tomorrow on the Carnival Victory and I want tp make sure my husband is all set. They told me they have gluten free bread, pasta, and cake mixes.
