Grand Princess, Baja deck balcony

Hi,

I'm booked on my first cruise this summer. Grand Princess on the Baja deck in a BC balcony grade cabin. I've been trying to get an idea of what the balcony will look like but have seen contradicting pictures of it. Will it be totally covered and can you see other balconies below or do you look over straight down to the sea?

I was on the Baja on the Grand about 1 month ago...the balconies are totally covered and yes you can see other balconies below you...

You will still see lots and lots of sea below you.:)

You can look down on C deck below. It`s not a problem.

We are B deck too.

Our first cruise was on the Grand and our cabin was on Baja. We enjoyed the location very much. Even tho totally covered, at some point in the day you will get sun.:) You can see C deck below but only if the passenger(s) are out on the uncovered part.:cool:

Oh I didn't mean to sound negative - we loved our Baja balcony and spent a good proportion of our vacation on there... being very fair, I can't take a lot of sun so appreciated the shade.... and I love people watching :)
