"New" Post Indicators

Anyone else having problems today? Each time I fire up Explorer, I'm being told by the CC site that new posts have taken place where none really exist. Is this a sudden malfunction on my two machines, or are others seeing this as well? I have never checked to see if the "last message read pointer" is cached by the Cruise Critic board server or as cookies on each of our own machines.
