Cozumel Questions - Sites to see?

I will be in Cozumel on March 23rd, from 9 AM to 6 PM.

 

I would like to spend 2 to 3 hours on the beach enjoying the sun and the water. What will the temperatures be that time of year. What about the water, is it warm?

 

What else is there to do in Cozumel besides water activites?

 

I'm not real into shopping but I might pick up a few souveniers. What are the must have items to purchase in Cozumel?

 

Are there scenic sites to see? Are there tours?

 

I will be in Costa Maya the next day and was planning on seeing the Ruins.
