Mini suites on Dolphin deck vs AD suites on Emerald Deck

If you booked the AD, how did you get a great deal for the AC cabin?

everyone's advice is so helpful;i finally spilled the beans last night and told my husband that we spent a little more money and upgraded to a mini suite 3 days ago (he leaves me in charge of all the planning and i love it)--he was surprised at first about spending "that much money extra" but i reminded him that he said we could get a balcony when we first booked two months ago, but then we decided to be economical and do the inside gty--so he said, OK--it's your retirment--and i know he was really happy with the news--and i explained that the mini gty was much less $$ than picking a specific balcony.

i am hoping he likes it so much that he wants to keep booking minis--but we shall see--so, since there are pros and cons, it seems, to every category, i figure we will be happy no matter what--i kow that i love being at sea, and no matter what, i will now feel much more like i am at sea every moment--thanks again grams98
