What's the forecast for End of August thru Early September?

Hi, CC Friends!

I am very excited to be booked on the Caribbean Princess for the week of August 21st. My DH and I have always wanted to take a cruise to Canada as we live in RI and have taken Road trips as far as Montreal and been curious about the cruise experience.

August in RI is very pleasant and usually sunny and warm.

We are looking for info on the clothes that would be most appropriate for the end of August. DH thinks we should be prepared for 60’s to low 70’s, can anyone help?

The average high for that time is 71.6 with an average low of 53.6

In Saint John the fog can roll in and drop the temp from it's high by about 10 degrees F
