motorbike rental??

We will be in Nassau and would like to get away from the crowds of Nassau. Is motor bike rental available and is it safe to go out and about the island on our own? What is the cost and where should we go?:rolleyes:

We rented a moped last May in Nassau. Don't remember the name of the place, but it is across the street from Atlantis resort on Paradise Island, about a 15-20 minute walk from the port, just over the foot bridge and a few blocks down. There are shops and restaurants along the way. I searched for the one we rented from but didn't find it. I did come across Curtis Scooter Rental, which gives prices, location and phone number. Driving is on the left and can be tricky in town, especially where there are rotaries, and traffic can be very heavy. We ventured outside of town and explored the island. Once on the main roads, it was less stressful and much more fun. I would recommend at least a 2-hour rental to give yourself enough time to explore outside of town.
