Ruby Princess Beds

How comfortable are the beds in the inside and outside cabins on the Ruby? Are they just as uncomfortable as on the other Princess ships? :(

 

We have sailed the Ruby 4 times.

Princess beds are pretty much the same on most ships.

They are very firm.

We have no problem with them and have never asked for a foam pad (eggcrate).

Just make sure to order the egg crate and lift up your mattress to see if there is a board under there. Really, some people do have one put in and then it is left.

 

My experience with any Princess bed Iincluding the Ruby)has been fine.:)

I always find the beds way to hard, but it never stops me from having a good cruise. Eggcrate is the way to go in my opinion.

Get at least one or two egg crate covers for the mattress ordered unless you prefer sleeping on rocks!! Wish they would change the mattresses to memory foam tops or pillow tops. That's our only issue with Princess. We love cruising Princess but on a long cruise the mattresses get to us!!!
