Are you able to use your cell phone on the ship? if not how were you able to communicate with family on the ship?

You can use your cellphones for a fee, which i dont recommend. Walkie Talkies are a decent option, but usually we just left them in the room because we didnt want to hear our relatives trying to talk to us. I would recommend using the Royal Connect Phone (WOWPhone) You can call/text message and also locate anyone onboard the ship. It's really like a modified iPhone. You can get them the first day of the cruise near the conference center i think and is only 17 dollars.
