FLL hotel suggestion

Hi, we will be going on Oasis of the Seas next March and are arriving a day early and staying an evening after. We fly in and out of FLL and we prefer Hilton properties can anyone recommend an Hilton, Embassy, etc that is close to the port in Ft Lauderdale and airport, we will not have a car either so will be doing transports or taxi's.

There is an Embassy Suites off 17th street within walking distance of lots...there is the Hilton Marina a bit farther down the road...and a water taxi stop there, and a Hilton opposite the beach.......

 

scroll around here, lots of info.

 

Cab will be about $20 from the airport and $10-15 ish to the pier....

Thank you I had looked at both of those has anyone stayed at either of these, which one is better than the other, the Embassy on 17th st or the Hilton Ft Lauderdale Marina?

They are both nice properties. The Embassy will probably a bit more but it includes a full breakfast and a two hour managers reception in the evening with drinks included.

We have stayed at the Embassy Suites on 17th St. about 8 or 9 times. We prefer it because of several reasons

- it is a Hilton property (HH points are great)

- it has a 3 hour Manager's reception each evening

- only a few minuets from both the port and airport

- full cooked to order buffet in the AM

- great location, within walking distance to resturants (Outback is very close), Maxi oconnors, Chucks Steakhouse, shopping, wine and liquor stores, Walgreens, etc.

 

but all these places are also an easy walk from the Hilton Marina. Have never stayed there but have seen good reviews as to the location, view, right next to the water taxi, etc. Both are very popular.
