Info. needed airport and pier in New York

We are taking a New England/Canada cruise on the Caribbean Princess in September. Flying into LaGuardia and wondering the distance from the airport to the port. Would it be better to take a cab or shuttle as we are flying in the morning of cruise. Also what would be the earliest flight to take after the cruise flying back same day. Thank you for any info.

the ship leaves from Brooklyn and its about 10 miles. Take a cab for about $30-35 per cab.

the cruise lines tell you 2 but noon is generally ok....

 

It takes 25 minutes without traffic.

 

Have the directions with you.

 

Its the BQE towards Brooklyn to the Atlantic Avenue exit make a left at the light at the end of the exit and make the first right follow that around to Bowne Street make a right into the cruise terminal.
