Trapani, Sicily - what to do local

Recommended Posts

first time in this port this year in August. Family of 3 - 2 adults one, 10 yr old who likes to make as much use of Kidzone as possible on non 'full day' excursion days so we dont want to go out for more than a few hours so he can attend the afternoon session if he wants to. We all are quite active and like to walk/swim and love history and photo ops and scenery. Any recommendations for what to do in the town? is there much to see? we have a big day in Napels planned the following day so don't want to do too much, just relax, a bit of walking about, is there a beach maybe? any knowledge/experiences gratefully received, thank you :)
