Halloween

We are first time Hal cruisers leaving San Diego on Oosterdam on October 30th. I would normally expect Oct. 31st (second day) to be our formal night, but this will be Halloween.

Can anyone tell me if there will be any special Halloween festivities that day or evening on the ship? Thanks for any info.

A few years ago we were also on a ship when Halloween fell on a formal night.

The majority of the people dressed for formal night. There were some who wore costumes to dinner.

There was a party -- dpending on ship -- either in the Crow's Nest or in the Northern Lights. It starts usually around 10:30. There are prizes given out. Not everyone wears a costume. One time there was a Bar Hop before the Halloween Party. It started around 9 PM -- and for a certain price you get to try drinks at 5 different bars and then the last one if where the party is.
