Nature Kayaking Tour for first timer?

Is the Key West Nature Kayaking Tour (RCI) suited for first time kayaking?

 

We never kayaked before and would like to know if the kayaking tours offered by the cruise lines cater to first timers?

 

Has anyone done this tour before and can you please tell me,

- if it is advisable to have previous experience in kayaking?

- if we can take our cameras (or will they get wet)?

- if we will see some wildlife like nurse sharks, tropical fish and manatees?

 

I already posted this question in the Key West forum and didn't get a reply. Maybe someone can help me here?
