Golf at Yucatan Country Club -- El Jaguar Course

Has anyone played at the El Jaguar course in Merida at the Yucatan Country Club? It looks relatively new.

If we decide to play in December, we'll take the Carnival ship's excursion. It's expensive, but worth it to us if it's a nice course and we don't have to mess with arrangements!

The Country Club is very new. So new that lots are still available for purchase. I don´t play golf, but live here and the course looks very impressive indeed, as it should be, considering that it is a Jack Nicklaus 'signature' golf course and the golden bear himself was here to do the signing (and pick up his check). I didn't think it was open to the public!
