Rooftop View in ROME

We want to visit every fabulous rooftop with a view while in Rome.

Can anyone help us start a list?

 

Hopefully there will be a restaurant or a BAR up there.

I'm hoping someone will know about one at Spanish Steps. The building to the left or right of the steps has an out of this world view/restaurant but the lady that told me abt it doesn't remember the name. She knows the building was designed by Michaelangelo. We want to make reservations for dinner/drinks:)

Hotel Forum has a rooftop restaurant overlooking the forum and you can see the colleseum. Both are lit up beautifully at night.

Cavaleri Hilton has a FABULOUS view of the city... and you dont even need to be in their restaurant (but that's spectacular as well... just bring your bank roll)!

The hotel at the top of the Spanish Steps is called the Hassler. We stayed there a few years ago. The view is incredible!

Climb the dome to the top of St Peters at the Vatican for the best view of Rome.

How about the view from the Museum Capitoline? There is a fabulous outdor restaurant there, minimal selection of food as I recall, but the most amazing place to sit and look out over the Forum and Coll.
