Ketchikan excursion questions

Has anyone done the crab feed in Kethcikan? Or somewhere else? How much pp and for children? Did you book through the cruiseline or privately? :confused: thanks.

Yes, we did the Crab Feed in Ketchikan. Summer 03...June...I believe it was a brand new excursion back then.

 

We booked it through the crusieline. I don't remember what the charge was. (Celebrity)

You can check out the excursions on line....without actually reserving them. It will show you prices, etc...

I did a review of this excursion for someone a few months back. Try the search mode....see if you can find it.

Boo's Mom- thank you. I already looked at Celebrity- it's expensive($125pp)! And for Children 12 and under it's $85! I have a 2 year old!:eek: Too much for a short boat ride and crab in a lodge setting IMO. I wanted to see if maybe someone booked it privately or if there was another place?:confused:

The Alaska Parks and Wildlife Dept (or similar group) has their hand in this excursion.....

 

They are doing a study of the crabs...that are "caught" on this excursion.

 

So...I want to think, that not too many "private" companies are able to do what this excursion is doing. Just my guess...
