5AM in Galveston

It's 5 AM in Galveston. It's a beautiful morning. We got here last night and walked around sightseeing. We ate dinner at The Spot. Very crowded but the food and drinks were good. We went for a walk along the beach. Water is warm. What a great start to the week!! We sail in 11hours!!!!

Currently 5:23 and the Conquest is about an hour and ten minutes out.

Y'all need to be down on the Crazies Patio to greet the Conquest! It's the pier right in front of the Harbor House Hotel...

The sight of that massive ship coming down the channel is enough to get the most jaded person excited!!!

A couple months ago we were in Galveston to visit John Heald on the Conquest.

We were at SeaWolf Park to watch her turn into the channel. This is what it looked like that Sunday morning:

Nope... that's the only one.

The Harbor cam works but you can't tell when the Conquest sails on that one.

I emailed the folks at Galveston.com yesterday about it but it seems no fix is forthcoming...

That will be an awesome sight. We will be waving at everyone 3 weeks after you on her. Such a long wait, but will be well worth it.:)
