Teamv Posted August 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2010 Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) will be in St. Thomas from 10 am to 8 pm (Dream). We are planning on going to Magens Bay but were thinking about 2 options for later in the day. One is to have an early supper in a restaurant before boarding. The other is to go back to the ship, shower and change, eat on board and head back off again for a couple of hours prior to leaving the port. Are there restaurants fairly close to the pier that you would recommend? Family friendly entertainment? Any thoughts on either of these 2 options? Thanks! Teamv Posted August 4, 2010 Author #2 Share Posted August 4, 2010 Any suggestions? Anybody? Does this mean that most people get back on the ship after their day excursions, even if the ship doesn't leave port until 8 pm?
O2B@Cagain Posted August 5, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2010 If you are at Havensight, there are several great restaurants on the water at Yacht Haven Grande, a very easy walk- Wikked, Fat Turtle and Grand Cru. There are also a couple of more casual places across the street- Pizza Amore and Shipwreck (burgers, etc.)

O2B@Cagain Posted August 5, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 5, 2010 Bruce: Paradise Point is a great place to watch the sunset, have a drink and listen to the band. There are some shops as well.
