We are staying 3 nights in Athens before our cruise and looking for something to do for 1 or 2 of the evenings. We will have day time tours to the tourist spots so looking for something different.

We are staying 3 nights in Athens before our cruise and looking for something to do for 1 or 2 of the evenings. We will have day time tours to the tourist spots so looking for something different.

Take a stroll through the Plaka at night...very lively and the lights atop the Acropolis are really nice to see.Have a nice dinner,relax and enjoy.There are a lot of other things you can do and yiouy can get info from your hotel.I would suggest Daphane's for dinner right on the edge of the Plaka...anyone can direct you and you will need a reservation.

We fly from JFK Sept. 15 arrive in Athens Sept. 16 for 3 nights at hotel.

I would suggest checking with Dennis at http://www.toursofathens.com to see what he would suggest from native's point of view. Then, he could arrangements for you in advance and take you there. He is an individual with a very nice limo type vehicle and a great guy. Enjoy!
