Opinion - Valor Rooms 8418 & 8420

Hi all, need a little help if possible. Has anyone stayed in rooms 8418 and/or 8420 on Carnival Valor or sister ship? We are planning trip w/BFFs and are worried we will hear too much late night or early morning noises from the Lido deck. These rooms are right under the Pizzeria.

Any help you can provide will be much appreciated! :D

I stayed in 8438 just down the hall this past April. I too was worried about noise. We didn't hear a thing. I remember just once I heard someone drag a chair but it lasted about two seconds.

 

You are directly under where the pizza gets cooked - I can't imagine you will hear too much noise. They're usually just standing there adding toppings then placing the pizzas in the oven. At the most you would hear footsteps, but I'm pretty sure the walls are thick enough. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Thanks MrsBlair. BF is a light sleeper and we have seen other posts about avoiding staterooms under Lido pool/buffet area.

Of course - and yes, that is generally a true consideration. Luckily with the way some of the ship classes were designed, there are sections that will not provide any noise. Have a great cruise!
