Balcony starting price a little lower than OV starting Price

Thought this was funny: 6A and 6B categories sold out on the 09/12/2010 Conquest earlier this week so they jacked the price of a 6C up to $739, yet you can get into an 8D (past guest discount) for $729.

Will this hamper the sales of the remaining 6Cs or boost balcony sales?

One tactic to boost sales of balconies is to increase the price of the IS and OV cabins so that customers upgrade to the higher quality cabins. When the higher value cabins sell out then the cruiseline will often drop the price of the OV.
