Hi Hunnibee! The cruise wsa fantastic! We got to the terminal separately, unfortunately my hubby saw me, I had on sunglasses though. :) Aisha the coordinator was late, but we were shown the VIP room which was so cool, because it was hot as hell outside and I didn't want my makeup to sweat off! Resf of the family had to wait in the general area. We were able to board around 11 or so with no problems. We were escorted to our cabin by Aisha and met our steward Yupin. Suite 7347 was awesome!! Wrap aft balcony was worth it.

I was able to get dressed in one room and hubby in the other. Major suggestion...BRIDES GO AND BUY A SMALL PORTABLE STEAMER!! My dress was wrinkled from the bottom down and the steamer helped tremendously!! I also had a extension cord with me (they did not confiscate it). By that time I had met Sudarma (Wayna) our photographer. Please tell him that Sarah and Ed send our love! He was soooo awesome. Our pics came out fabulous! We took a lot of pics in Gatsby's Garden. The best part of being on the ship early, is that people aren't really around, so he didn't get any shots of people walking around in the background or just standing by and gaping.

I'm not sure if you guys will have a hostess, but we did, her name was Alexsandra from Russia ( I think hubby was secretly in love with her, she's so cute).

The Back to Back was wonderful. All the ports were great and there was perfect weather in every single one of them...wait, I'm lying, there was a bit of showers in San Juan, which stopped eventually. You will love the Miracle, it is a small ship. The deli they have onboard is fantastic and it's open til 11:30pm. Room service is standard fare, sandwiches(with potato chips), salad, dessert (no cookies). I think you and your new husband will have a lot of fun! Take plenty of pictures and do not stress.

We did the newlywed game and bombed...roflol. We did get a ship on a stick and a bottle of champagne/wine something..lol for participating. The cruise director Malcolm Burn is from NYC, and he can be annoying with his "Woohooo". If you can, go and see the silent film skit that he does. It is HYSTERICAL!! That is a do not miss!! Enjoy yourself, because we sure did.

Congratulations! I'm glad to hear it went well! Lissy told us to be at the port at 11, but I told everyone to get there at 10:30, because both of our families tend to run late. Thanks for the tip about the portable steamer. I just had my dress pressed, so I'm hoping I won't need to steam it again after I just paid for it, but I may go get one just in case. We're going to the port together, so he'll see me with my hair & makeup done, but we have our room and my parents room available (different floors) so we'll get ready separately and won't see each other dressed until the ceremony.

Your picture is beautiful! I'm so relieved to hear the pictures came out fabulous. That's one thing I was worried about. I definitely want pictures in Gatsby's Garden. I'll tell him you send your love!

I just found out that Malcolm is on vacation, so he won't be our cruise director, and the CD for our cruise doesn't have very good reviews. I'm sure it will be a great experience anyway....we don't know any better...this is the first cruise for us and all but 3 of our 19 cruising guests.

OMG!! You will LOVE Gatsby's Garden. We had the majority of our pics taken there. If you want to see them, let me know.

Oh, FYI, the package for the photos that they send you are not everythign that they have on the ship. We found out there were more packages to chose from onboard. We chose to get a photo album of our photos(which is customizable) along with a cd and a dvd. We're VERY VERY happy with the pics! :)

I'll send you an email tonight. The real things don't do justice to emailed pics ;)

Trying to remember anything else of importance. Frankensteins lab is cute, with a huge statue of him attached to the wall down on the dance floor.

If you have more questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks! My dad thinks having a huge Frankenstein there is going to be hilarious. He's been talking about all the pics he's going to take for weeks (he has a weird sense of humor)

What did you do about tipping? I read the tipping threads and most people seem to have tipped $10-$25 for the officiant, WC's and waitstaff/bartender, with $40 for the videographer and $50-100 for the photographer. Just wondering if that's about right. I don't really know the rules about these things.
