Captain Morgan - Duty Free

TNM

Recommended Posts

Were taking the Destiny to Key West/Cozumel next month...where are there duty free shops, not until you arrive in Cozumel? And does anyone know how much Capt Morgan costs and if we can bring home about 4 bottles for 2 of us?

One more thing, is it true that we can restock on soda or water for our cabin when we arrive at a port? Thanks! :)

The ship will have Captain Morgan for sale and it's liter bottles vs 750ml or 1.5L on the island. Legally you can bring back 3 liters per person duty free (except in Texas where it's 1).

My bottle of private stock was around $20 for a liter on the ship.

Cozumel really is not duty free and obviously Key West isn't duty free. Cozumel has a tax and that is figured in with the pricing. When I was in Cozumel last year thats what one of the locals had advised me of. Had asked about the pier that used to have the duty free store on it that the hurricane took out, about why do we not see a new duty free store at the port, thats when I was advised of such. Best place to buy cappy momo during that cruise is on the ship where it'll be duty free.
