Rent a car?

I was wondering if I could get some people's opinion.

 

My wife and I will be arriving around 4:30pm the day before our cruise and we are staying one day after the cruise (flight 9:00am next day).

 

Would it be cheaper to rent a car for one of these days rather than taking taxis everywhere?

I figured i could rent one for the day after the cruise since we will have more time on the island.

 

We are staying at the Emabassy Suites.

average Rental car with insurance is about $60 plus gasoline must bring it back with a full tank

You can get a full size car off Priceline for $25 or less a day! I got one for an April cruise for $25.00 a day thru Avis at SJU!
