$ tip/day and C&A coupons

I'm trying to do a quick estimate for the price of a potential (fingers crossed) cruise to Alaska.

 

Can someone tell me quick:

 

1. What's the currently recommended $ per day tip for the stewards/waiters?

 

2. In the most recent C&A were there any coupons for Alaskan cruises and has their booking window expired yet (my mag is at home and I'm not home right now!)

C&A Issue 1 2005 has a coupon for a 7 night Alaska Radiance OTS 8/6 & 27, 9/3 & 10; Serenade OTS 8/7 & 14, 9/4 & 11; Vision OTS 8/26, 9/9. Must reserve cruise by 3/31/05.

I think the tipping is still $3.50 per day for cabin steward & waiter, $2.00 per day for asst. waiter, and head waiter if you wish. These are the recommended amounts by the cruise line.
